A few habits that keep your account safe — and what Milestone will never ask you for.
Milestone staff will never ask you for your PIN, password, or one-time passcode — by phone, SMS, email or in person. Anyone who does is not from Milestone.
Check the sender's address carefully before clicking a link or downloading an attachment claiming to be from Milestone. When in doubt, type our web address in yourself rather than clicking a link.
Only use the Milestone Mobile App, our official website, or a verified branch. Be wary of anyone directing you to an unfamiliar app, link or "agent" outside these channels.
Fraudsters often create a false sense of urgency — "your account will be frozen," "act now." Milestone will never pressure you to act immediately without giving you time to verify.
Cover your PIN at ATMs and POS terminals, keep your phone's lock screen enabled, and log out of internet banking on shared devices.
Review your account activity in the mobile app or via statements, and report anything unfamiliar right away.
